// Getting started
What is a prediction market?
A prediction market lets participants open YES or NO positions on a verifiable future event. The price reflects the market-implied probability and moves as new positions enter.
How is FUTURAI different from traditional odds?
FUTURAI is a prediction market on verifiable events. In third-party models, the operator publishes a price that already includes a margin and the house sets the outcome. On FUTURAI, participants form the price themselves through their positions, and resolution follows public, verifiable rules grounded in sources — not chance.
Do I need a crypto wallet?
FUTURAI is a non-custodial platform: your funds are never held by FUTURAI — they stay in your own wallet or in on-chain escrow via smart contract. The default currency is USDC. You can interact through a compatible wallet; where supported, on-ramps such as PIX may also be available and are automatically converted to USDC.
// Funds & risk
Can I lose money?
Yes. Prediction markets involve risk — the value of a position can change and an unfavorable resolution may result in the loss of the amount you allocated. Only use funds you can afford to lose.
Does FUTURAI guarantee returns?
No. FUTURAI does not guarantee returns, is not financial advice, and does not replace your own analysis.
What fees apply?
Applicable platform fees, network costs, and any spreads are shown in USDC at the point of interaction before you confirm a position.
How do I stay in control of my allocations?
Use deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, cooling-off periods, or self-exclusion — all described on the Responsible use page.
// Markets & resolution
How are markets resolved?
Each market publishes its question, deadline, and sources beforehand. After the deadline, the outcome is settled against those predefined criteria and disclosed sources.
What happens if a market cannot be resolved fairly?
It may be voided — for example if the event is cancelled or sources become unavailable — and allocations are handled per that market’s void rule.
Can I verify a resolution?
Yes. Criteria and sources are intended to be visible so resolution can be reviewed rather than taken on trust, with on-chain settlement where applicable.

Who can use FUTURAI?
You must be at least 18 and legally permitted to use prediction markets in your jurisdiction. FUTURAI is a non-custodial technology platform and availability may vary depending on the user’s jurisdiction. Identity and age verification (KYC) may be required.
How is my data handled?
See the Privacy Policy. We collect only what is necessary, process it under applicable data-protection law (GDPR), and do not sell personal data.
