01 Acceptance of terms
By accessing FUTURAI, creating an account, or opening a position, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all policies referenced within them, including the Privacy Policy, KYC/AML Policy, and Resolution Rules.
If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
02 Definitions
For the purposes of these terms:
- Position — the YES or NO exposure a participant opens on the outcome of a verifiable event.
- Market — a question about a verifiable future event whose prices are formed by participant demand.
- Resolution — the determination of a market's outcome under the Resolution Rules and disclosed sources.
- Settlement — the on-chain distribution of amounts according to the resolution, executed by smart contract.
- On-chain escrow — the holding of amounts in a smart contract while a position is open; FUTURAI does not custody these amounts.
03 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use prediction markets in your jurisdiction. Access may be restricted or unavailable in certain regions.
- You are using the platform on your own behalf, not for a prohibited third party.
- You are not located in a sanctioned or restricted territory.
- All information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
04 The service
FUTURAI provides the technology for prediction markets where participants open YES or NO positions on the outcome of verifiable events. Prices reflect market-implied probability formed by participant demand, not a fixed operator price.
FUTURAI is a non-custodial technology provider: it does not custody funds, and settlement occurs on-chain via smart contract in USDC. FUTURAI is a prediction market on verifiable events: participants take positions on the probability of a real outcome, determined by verifiable sources.
FUTURAI is a non-custodial technology platform and availability may vary depending on the user's jurisdiction. Features may change without notice.
05 Accounts and verification
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Identity and age verification (KYC) may be required before full access is granted, as described in the KYC/AML Policy.
06 Positions and settlement
When you open a position, the allocated amount remains in on-chain escrow / in the user's wallet and is handled according to the relevant smart-contract and protocol rules; at no point is it held in platform custody. Settlement is processed on-chain in USDC following the published Resolution Rules and disclosed sources for each market.
Deposits made through a local on-ramp (e.g., FIAT) are automatically converted to USDC; FUTURAI does not hold balances in local currency.
An unfavorable resolution may result in the loss of the amount allocated to that position.
07 Fees
Applicable platform fees, network costs, and any spreads are disclosed in USDC at the point of interaction. You are responsible for any taxes arising from your activity in your own jurisdiction.
08 Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Manipulate markets, prices, or resolutions, or use coordinated or automated abuse.
- Use the platform for money laundering, fraud, or any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to access the platform from a restricted jurisdiction or on behalf of a minor.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
09 Risk and no guarantees
Prediction markets involve risk. FUTURAI does not guarantee returns, does not provide financial advice, and does not replace your own analysis. Only allocate amounts you can afford to lose.
10 Intellectual property
The platform, its branding, interfaces, and content are owned by FUTURAI or its licensors. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the service under these terms.
11 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FUTURAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for losses arising from market outcomes, network conditions, or third-party services.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, such as liability arising from willful misconduct or fraud.
Severability: if any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
12 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where required by applicable law, for suspected abuse, or to protect the platform and its participants. You may close your account at any time, subject to settlement of open positions.
